Curiosity Approach Tuff Tray

Try this at home!

This weeks try this at home tuff tray is focusing on the curiosity approach.

The Curiosity approach encourages natural curiosity, fosters critical thinking, problem solving and enhances confidence through engaging environments.

The approach brings a home from home feel to learning, using interesting, natural, non plastic multi- dimensional resources. Creating engaging environments with soft lighting, homely touches and cosy inviting, accessable resourses.

Here at mara we already follow this approach in much of our practise, over the coming months will be enhancing our resources and we need your help!

If any families are having clear outs at home or work we would appreciate any donations such as:

  • Lamps, fairy lights, photo frames.
  • Real tea sets/ kitchen utensils / pots and pans.
  • Magazines.
  • Real plants / tree cuts / branches.
  • Conkers, pinecones, shells.
  • Old telephones, electrical items.
  • Wooden or metal trinkets.
  • Mug trees, wooden brushes,
  • Bangles, hooped objects.
  • Scarves, hats, handbags, heels,
  • Shirts, 'real clothes' for dress up.
  • Crates, builders materials.
  • Glass jars, wickers baskets, wooden bowls.
  • Any interesting resources from your place of work - clip boards, uniform items, blue prints, if unsure do ask and we can let you know what will work!
