Giant Bubbles!
Today, we had fun experimenting with giant bubbles! We started by pouring our bubble mixture into the tuff tray, adding some baking powder to thicken it. First, the children stood in the mixture to see how high they could lift their hoola hoops. The highest they reached was around their knees. We talked about whether we should go fast or slow, and the children predicted that going slow would work better. We tried both methods, and they were right—going slow made the biggest bubbles.
Next, the children wanted to see if they could make their own bubbles. We explored the room to find different objects to add to the bubble mixture and see who could lift their hoola hoop the highest. We had lots of fun creating giant bubbles and encouraging curiosity about how fast or slow to lift the hoops.
We even managed to make floating bubbles that didn't pop in the tuff tray!
Great Job Everyone!
