Loose Parts Rescue!
This week’s tuff tray activity to try at home is called Loose Parts Rescue! Here’s what you’ll need:
- Tongs or tweezers
- Some masking tape
- Loose parts like buttons, pom poms, or lids
- Numbered pots (an egg carton works perfectly for this)
Gently rescue the loose parts using the tweezers, avoiding the sticky tape. Once you’ve gathered your treasures, use them to create a flower or anything your imagination suggests! You can extend the activity by adding numbers to the pots and matching them with the number of parts you've collected. This fun activity helps develop fine motor skills, early maths, number recognition, and creativity!
